Make sure to tape up the RCA plugs if they aren't in use as they can ground out on any metal behind the console causing some 'static' or clicking/popping noise in the audio.

I installed this into my 2006 Ford Fusion. It was very easy and only took about an hour to install. The most difficult part was getting the stereo back into the dash with all of the extra cabling that was added for the ipod connection module....that took about 40 minutes of time :)

Auto Toys Response: In the Fusion, if you remove the 2 7mm bolts off to the side of the top air vents, then remove the entire air vent assembly, you can easily find extra room

I was skeptical about whether this product would work on my Explorer. I had checked for a device like this many times, as the manufacturer's list would always avoid an '06 Explorer with 6-disk changer. However, this time it was included. The hardest part was disassembling my dash and finding adequate space for the wiring harness once installed. But, after working for some time I was able to reassemble all bits. It worked perfectly! And it continues to work perfectly. I would recommend this to any buyer.
