Kit worked pretty well for this beginner. Only thing that REALLY frustrated me was the clamp that fit in the back and held the radio in place came with these PAL nuts that I could not figure out how to attach for the life of me (and the instructions provided no help). Maybe pros use PAL nuts all the time, but I was clueless. I ended up just using the factory brace as a back stop to prevent the radio from falling into the dash, and that seemed to work fine.
