The other customer reviews have already touched on this products quality and function. It works great on my 2008 Maxima with a Pioneer AVIC / Navigation. Once in awhile the text will show random characters and symbols, but turning the car off and then on usually fixes it. I had mine professionally installed in the small compartment under my temp controls, double sided stick tape so when you press in it flips up and the buttons become visable. Looks great!

For the most part is works as advertised. It does retain the driver information display in a 2007 maxima without navi. It does provide you with a signal to your aftermarket navi indicateing that the vehical has been taken out of park to prevent video display when moveing. It does provide a signal to indicate the car is in reverse to activate a back up camera.
The bug's list is short but aggrivateing.
1: During installation i found that the keypad didnt function correctly. The reason why is because during the assembly of the keypad the buttons were installed upside-down. Simple fix was to remove the 4 screws on the back of the keypad and rotate the keypad 180 degrees.
2: The wire labled as the illumination/dimmer wire does not function. In other words when i dim the dash lights, it does not dim the radio button/display.
3: Sometimes the Driver Information Display will just display random text/symbols when you turn the car on. Turn the car off a few times and it works correctly. Heat is not a factor here as it does it even when my car has been parked inside my garage.

I purchased this to install my avic d3 and i must say it works great and was planned great. Thank god this company offered this product because no one else does.... i highly recommend for anyone that is getting aftermarket stereo in their sentra. it could be a little easier to install though. but overall, the product works good. buy with confidence.
