The fit was just right. The only problem is that cutting the middle bar off leaves a mark on either side of the kit. You don't necessarily notice it right away, but I see it because I know it's there.

It worked great. I used it to install my off-sized "double DIN" DVD player. It worked like a charm. The hardest part was taking the console apart in my Civic. After that, this piece did the trick!

Fit great now the in-dash sits on top and head unit on the bottom.
