Product works just fine. Just connect the colored wires and slide right in. You may need the europe/us antenna adaptor as well (I did). If you read online instructions that say that you don't need the blue wire on a BMW, just ignore, you do need to attach the blue wire. I have a BMW 540i, 1995, and switched out the factory head unit with a Pioneer one. Great sound.
