Recently I had my truck broken into and the thief did not get my JVC KD-SH1000 head unit (it was chained to my dash support..ha ha), but unfortunately they damaged it :( . So I wanted to replace it with another JVC since I really liked my last 2 JVC's. I do miss some features of the KD-SH1000, like the customization of the subwoofer output (slope dB, frequency, level). It also had Digital Sound Processing (DSP).

But I have come to really love the full touchscreen display and the Bluetooth. Which for me is nice since I have a new Samsung Galaxy Android phone. The microphone works surprisingly well, even over my loud exhaust.

I have been very happy with JVC. They seem to make very cutting edge, quality built radios. My younger brother has the model that this one replaced (JVC KD-AVX44) and it has been a very nice radio. Its still going strong.

I was fortunate to get this model at Autotoys. JVC seems to be discontinuing these. For the price here I would buy a second one without hesitation. They had free shipping which would have made the deal even better, but I noticed that after I already submitted the order. Don't make my mistake, use the coupon if its available.

I ordered this radio before christmas last minute and got it during the week after, in one piece, in a nicely shipped box. It definitely made my christmas!!

I will recommend your site to anyone I know looking for the best deals on auto equipment.

I can't complain. This is my third JVC KD series unit. They just keep improving each year. Ultra wide display is touch screen, need I say more? Bluetooth works great with iPhone or any other audio source. Hands free makes recharging my headset a thing of the past. USB port also charges portable device. Beautiful sound quality is unmatched. This unit can do whatever you ask of it and more.
