Comments about CHANNEL 2 CHANNEL 240 WATT WATERPROOF MARINE AMPLIFIER:
I installed this in the fairing of my 06 Street Glide along with a pair of J&M speakers. At 80 mph I can now actually hear the words to the songs. An equalizer would definatly help, but the added boost is fine for now.

Used on a BMW touring motorcycle. This unit does not have auto mute or noise gated input for radar or GPS override nor external poweron. I modified this amp to supply two switched power-on outputs to enable the auto mute override device (mixer purchased separately) and in addition an MP3 player. It would have saved me some trouble if a schematic was supplied. There was room inside the amp for a nokia cell phone power converter, 12v to 5.3v which I added after disassembleing the converter. It would have been nice if this amp had noise gated isolated input for GPS or radar override. It cost about $75 additional to add those features including the cell phone converter.
