The OEM CD changer went out in the BMW. BMW wanted a rediculous price ($700+ NO install) so I figured why not take the chance and buy this one. Boy am I glad I did. It was super easy to install, and the changer is still working over a year later. I'd buy from these guys again in a heartbeat

Install was straight forward with the included brackets in my E39. The BMW interface was also very easy and worked as soon as I plugged it into the CD harness. I have since given this to a fam member with the same plug and play results in an 323i E46.

Kenwood changer. Supplied electrical interface box connected perfectly to BMW 528i wiring harness. Physical installation in CD changer compartment required building a platform with leveling legs from scrap plywood then bolting the changer and interface box to the platform. Took about 30 minutes total including making the plan, taking measurements, cutting the wood, and assembly.

Changer is actually a Kenwood KDC-C669 with a Percision Interface Electronics Inc box to allow connection of the BMW wiring to the changer. The electrical interface was easy and the unit functions correctly.
Since the provided brackets were ill-suited to allow easy mounting into the BMW 528i CD changer compartment, common hand tools, a bit of plywood, and pine blocks (for leveling) were needed to construct a platform on which to vertically mount the changer.
