Removing the dash is not as onerous as it may seem. See: [@]You only need go as far as step 9 or 10 to attach the connector. A mirror helps. It would be nice if the blue connector wire detatched from the black box so one would only need to drill a small hole to bring the unit through the dash but that's a minor issue. So much better sound than an FM transmitter. Would gladly buy another.
